Check out what the teachers are saying about us:

“Whether children choose to work according to a structured model or create something from their imagination, their senses become heightened: colors pop before their eyes, the sense of touch distinguishes between plastic and metal, discerns varying material temperatures, and the sense of hearing activates when searching for a screw among a selection. Their brains engage, activating different cognitive skills such as visual perception, quantity perception, calculation skills, problem-solving, planning, and sequencing of actions. Fine motor skills are put to the test, and the beauty of it all is the ability to adjust the difficulty level, as anything can be assembled from anything”

"Using the Group Maker Kit was such pleasant, colorful and exciting experience. Coming up with the pedagogy for using the kit in a classroom came to me very naturally and organically, since the richness of shapes and colors of the parts, straight away lit my imagination and got me wanting to engage in assembling, creating and designing. The kit promotes creative thinking, problem solving and the practice of "Desighn Thinking" even at a very young age. In a world where perseverance, cooperation and agility are the best predictors of success, The Offbits are a fantastic tool to practice them all. Pretending to be an engineer or a designer is such an enjoyable way of learning all these amazing skills"

“I really enjoyed using the Offbits kits as a part of my Robotics Workshop at Minni this past Spring! It infused an engineering mindset into our creative process and a fun, kinetic energy to our final creations. I can’t wait to use them again and see what my students are inspired to create next”

“Kids face daily challenges that demand perseverance and determination, especially in STEM education, where problem-solving is key. Offbits using nuts and bolts help foster these vital skills. Whether kids are building specific designs or engaging in open-ended creativity, Offbits encourages them to confidently tackle challenging situations—all while having a blast!”

"We love our OffBits Group Makers Kit! This past summer, My Good Brain, our arts nonprofit for youth mental wellness, teamed up with The OffBits to bring STEAM x Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) to children and families across the SF Bay Area. The kids had a blast creating their own unique robots while engaging in our activities at community events. It was heartwarming to see them so curious, focused, determined, and excited to play with the OffBits while learning about mental health topics like acceptance, confidence, and self-esteem—all without a screen in sight! Parents loved watching their kids explore new skills and dive into their creativity. Families crowded around our booth, sharing how much they valued the role of play in promoting mental well-being"

“As a mechanical engineer turned creative teacher, I appreciate how OffBits offers the opportunity to integrate STEM teaching into an artistic environment. By using and exploring these mechanical components in a creative way, students learn how to be more comfortable engaging with unfamiliar materials, thus fueling their imaginations to build newer and weirder things”
